DESTINY CHILD ORPHANAGE OUTREACH

The Chioma States Afonne Foundation (TCSAF) were welcomed into One-Man Village, a tight-knit community, by men and women who have dedicated their lives to caring for abandoned and orphaned children through Destiny Child Orphanage (DCO). It is important to mention the impressive organizational quality at DCO and the technical expertise in handling children. The program for the children included an appropriate educational facility, a clean environment, and a healthy physical appearance of the children that depicted the quality of food/nutrition. Our objective was to show love the best way we could, and the team designed a program that communicated love and care in the best ways the children and caregivers could understand. First, we invited the children, a total of 26, to join us as we sat together to share words of love, encouragement, and support. With every heartfelt word, we wanted these children to understand that they were not alone in this world. They had people like us, ready to embrace them and provide for their needs.

To further express our love, TCSAF shared a meal with the Children and provided essential supplies to assist in their daily lives. This included but was not limited to a bag of rice, cartons of tomatoes, sets of baby milk, milo, groundnut oil, and sets of baby diapers. Most charity houses, like DCO, rely heavily on owner money, which is supplemented by donations from public and private entities. This simple gesture may seem insignificant to some, but to these children, it symbolized a lifeline—a tangible expression of compassion and care that they so desperately needed.

We are proud of the progress achieved within the community and immensely grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of these remarkable children. As we continue our charity endeavors in various communities, we remain committed to our multifaceted charity efforts aimed at supporting the underserved and less privileged individuals to improve their lives for future generations to come.

We invite you to join us on this transformative journey. Together, let us effectively support the less privileged with food, access to basic healthcare services, and educational support.
